Cathrine & John - Brecknock Hall Veterans Day Wedding
While many people believe 11-11-11 is a lucky day, Cathrine and John Schmanski are two active duty Army soldiers who know that to be a fact. The couple fell in love at a U.S. Army base in Vilseck, Germany in 2009. They said "I do," in May 2010 so they would be married before their deployment to Afghanistan, but never truly got to celebrate the momentous event with their friends and family. The Brecknock Veterans Day Wedding Giveback Contest, established by the lifecare retirement community Peconic Landing to recognize and thank active duty military personnel and veterans, offered Brecknock Hall as a free wedding venue to the winners. Soon, an outpouring of support from 20 sponsors added a long list of complimentary services and products to the list to give this couple the perfect wedding captured by Caroline Rocchetta Photography. Lauren & Alex - East Moriches Estate Wedding
There is nothing more wonderful then seeing our favorite vendors collaborate to put together a beautiful wedding. Lauren & Alex held their affair at a private estate along the waterfront in East Moriches, New York. Karen Lenahan designed unique reception tablescapes, complete with a collection of china patterns provided by the mother of the bride. Each table sparkled with its own personality and was beautifully documented by Kelly Guenther Studio. And no table would ever be complete without the delicious food provided by Food for Forks.

Maureen & Patrick - Martha Clara Vineyards Wedding
Martha Clara Vineyards provided the perfect setting for Maureen & Patrick's wedding. Captured by Memento Photography, we simply couldn't wait to share these details with our brides & grooms to be.

During their cocktail hour, guests were treated to a wine tasting, followed by hand-rolled cigars, horse and carriage tours through the vineyard, and even a bag piper! The appetizers were expertly prepared and served by Christopher Michael Catering, and featured roasted shrimp with pesto and smoked mozzarella, parmesan dusted artichoke hearts with basil garlic, and duck quesadillas.
After the cocktails, guests were invited into the (air conditioned!) Gallery One Barn for dinner and dancing. The barn was beautifully decorated with strung lights, paper lanterns, and stunning centerpieces by Becky Jens of Moments in Time Florist. Guests dined on a delicious buffet of sautéed chicken with rosemary and shallots, grilled tuna with citrus marinade, and filet mignon with horseradish dill or port shallot mushroom sauces. Skyline Orchestras – Code Blue provided an amazing musical experience for the guests all night…they rocked the house! No one was left in their seats!
